Why KoAm?

Our staff has extensive knowledge on Korean and American culture.

Our founder, Jae H. Park, is a Korean American who has studied and worked in the US for over 40 years. We pride ourselves in our staff, who have extensive knowledge and personal experience in both Korean and American culture and language. KoAm is able to pay attention to every detail surrounding an exchange, anticipating potential misunderstandings and comprehending specific needs and desires of our participants.

Our students come from a diverse age range.

KoAm offers exchange programs for 4th – 12th grade students. Host families and schools are able to take a more active part in developing perspectives, goals and overall growth while interacting with these exchange students. Our 4th – 8th grade students at this impressionable age assimilate very quickly to become a part of their American families. Meanwhile, our 9th – 12th grade students are at a pivotal stage of their lives, considering future possibilities. Host families and schools provide guidance and opportunities for enhancing their academic journey.
By serving a diverse age range, KoAm creates closer and longer-lasting bonds.

We provide 24/7 comprehensive support.

KoAm is well equipped to serve all participants in both Korea and America.  We focus on selection, preparation, and support for our students and their families in Korea as well as on host schools and families in the US, providing seamless transitions and overseeing the exchange experience.  KoAm staff provide continuous support throughout the exchange, ensuring a peaceful and meaningful experience for everyone included.
